Make An Investment In The Future
The YMCA of Lenawee County's Annual Strong Kids Campaign is an investment in the future of thousands of lives in our community. Dollars raised are used to underwrite memberships and YMCA programs which help develop values, build self-esteem, strengthen family life, and provide solutions to pressing community needs.

Your tax-deductable contribution helps the YMCA provide these vital programs to everyone in the community regardless of their ability to pay.

In 2005, the YMCA provided financial assistance in the form of program and membership scholorships to more than 500 children and families. These scholorships allowed young people to participate in childcare and summer day camp, learn how to swim, and participate in youth sports programs.

Thanks in large part to the success of the Annual Strong Kids Campaign, the YMCA was able to grant financial assistance totaling $72,940 this past year. All scholorship recipients met eligibility requirements and no one was denied access to the YMCA or its programs.

The Y's Annual Strong Kids Campaign also helps to support important initiatives like Healthy Kids Day, Y Halloween, and Community Swim. The YMCA of Lenawee County strives to strengthen kids and families, as this makes for happier, healthier, and stronger community.

Annual contributors believe in the mission of the YMCA - to put Christian principles into practice through programs that build healthy spirit, mind, and body for all. Your donation represents an investment in the future of Lenawee County's children, adults, and families.
