YMCA Kidz Klub

For Kindergartner through sixth graders.

School-age children Kindergarten through sixth grade in the state-licensed Kidz Klub program will have the opportunity to live and learn in a relaxed setting before and after school. This program offers a stimulating environment with time to play and learn with friends, finish homework, and participate in arts and crafts and cooperative games. This program is open Monday through Friday, in some cases from 6:00 am to the start of school and from the release of school until 6:00 pm.

Day Camp

You can count on the YMCA to provide great educational and recreational opportunities of pre-kindergarten through sixth-grade children during the Summer! Day camp activities include arts and crafts, games, swimming, hiking, field trips, special themes each week and a whole lot more!

This year we have Summer Day Camps at TWO sites: at the YMCA and at Tecumseh Acres Elementary School. Full time participation is four or five full days. Times are 8:30 am to 4:00 pm. Pre-camp begins at 6:00 am and post-camp ends at 6:00 pm.

Full-time $130 a week for members; $150 a week for non-members
Half-time* $90 a week for members; $110 a week for non-members.

*Half-time is 3 or less full days or 5 or less half days per week.

Infant & Toddler Care

Infant and Toddler Care is now a collaboration between the YMCA and Early Head Start. Children must qualify for the Early Head Start portion. Held at Garfield Elementary, this program is for children ages 4 weeks to 16 months old. YMCA staff provide care from 6:00 to 7:30 am and 2:00 to 6:00 pm each week day. Preschool

Pre-Kindergarten children focus on Kindergarten readiness to help prepare children for the challenges of school. Through developmentally appropriate activities, your child will grow spiritually, physically, and intellectually. Children aged 2-1/2 to 5 years old are welcome in our preschool program. Programs include Little Learners (2-1/2 to 4 years old) and Pre-K Club (4 and 5 year olds).
