AWAY Program (Always Welcome At YMCAs)
Visiting members from an out-of-town YMCA are welcome to the YMCA of Lenawee County by presenting their Y membership card containing an AWAY sticker or logo. AWAY visitors may use the facility up to twelve times per year. AWAY visitors may also participate in classes or programs by paying the difference between the YMCA member fee and the non-member fee.
We believe that no one should ever be denied membership or access to programs based on their ability to pay. Through our Strong Kids Campaign, we provide scholarships based on individual needs and circumstances. Pick up a scholarship packet at the front desk, or call our membership staff at (517) 263-2151 for details on how to apply.
FREE Child Watch
Child Watch is a free service, available for parents who would like to bring their children (ages 6 months-9 years) to the YMCA while using the facility. Children must have at least one parent in the building while in Child Watch. Child Watch days and hours are:
Monday through Friday: 9:00am-11:00am & 5:00pm-8:00pm
For your convenience, you can download and print the forms you need to register as a YMCA member, change your membership or banking details, or set up an electronic fund transfer. (Note these files are in pdf format.)
