There’s a unique combination at the YMCA of Lenawee County. It’s a place where the community comes together to connect, play, and discover new things. The Y offers comprehensive healthy living and learning experiences for adults and kids, including a great gym/fitness center, free exercise classes, state-licensed child care, sports and recreation programs for youth and adults! At the Y, membership means more. *New for Summer 2014* Your Y membership will also give you FREE access to Bohn Pool in Adrian!

 

Membership Categories

Youth Membership 6 months – 17 years

Members age 11 and over have access to the pool, wellness center, and the racquetball courts. Members of high school age or older have access to the Iron Courts.

Young Adults: 18 – 22 years

 

Adults: 23 years of age and older

 

Senior Membership

Reduced rates are available to those 60 years of age and above. Senior members enjoy all the amenities associated with an adult membership.

Senior Couple Membership

One spouse must be 60 years of age or up to qualify for senior couple rate. Senior couples enjoy all the amenities associated with an adult membership.

Family Membership

A “family” is defined as one or two adults and their dependents living in the same household. Members enjoy all the amenities associated with a regular young adult or adult membership.

College Membership

Any full-time (12 credit hours) student can get a membership at the YMCA for a great, special rate of $15/month.  A current class schedule must be provided each semester to continue to qualify for this rate.

Military Membership

Active duty (title 10) military personnel could be eligible to receive a complimentary adult/family membership.  Families of servicemen or women who are deployed receive a complimentary membership for the duration of deployment.  Civilians who have enlisted received a complimentary month prior to leaving for boot camp.  Contact our membership department to determine your eligibility.

Women’s Health Center

Membership in the Health Center gives all privileges of adult membership as well as access to redwood sauna, private locker, lounge area, and towel and laundering services.

Men’s Health Center

Membership in the Health Center gives all privileges of adult membership as well as access to the steam room, redwood sauna, private locker, lounge area, and towel and laundering services.

Corporate Membership

Area businesses with five or more employee-members are eligible. Regular membership fees are discounted, based on the number of participants. Please contact the member services coordinator for further details.

AWAY Program (Always Welcome At YMCAs)

Visiting members from an out-of-town YMCA are welcome to the YMCA of Lenawee County by presenting their Y membership card containing an AWAY sticker or logo. AWAY visitors may use the facility up to twelve times per year.  AWAY visitors may also participate in classes or programs by paying the difference between the YMCA member fee and the non-member fee.

Non-Members Daily Pass

Youth (Under the age of 18) pay $5.00 per visit; parent/guardian must sign Daily Pass Information Card, under 11 must be accompanied by an adult.
Adults (Age 18-59) pay $7.00 per visit
Seniors (60 or older) $5.00 per visit
Family pay $15 per visit
All day fee purchasers must present some form of identification. Please see the program guide and the Guest Pass & Day Pass Policy statement available at the Member Service Desk for additional limits and details!

Financial Assistance

We believe that no one should ever be denied membership or access to programs based on their ability to pay.  Through our Strong Kids Campaign, we provide assistance based on individual needs and circumstances.  Call our membership staff for more information or details on how to apply for assistance.

FREE Child Watch

Child Watch is a free service, available for parents who would like to bring their children (ages 6 months-9 years) to the YMCA while using the facility. Children must have at least one parent in the building while in Child Watch. Child Watch days and hours are:

Monday through Friday: 9:00am-11:00am & 5:00pm-8:00pm
Saturday: 9:00am-11:00am
