Summer Volleyball Camp

Led by the YMCA’s Volleyball Coordinator, Jo Borchardt, and AAU Coach and Assistant Adrian High School Varsity Coach, Thomas Guerrero, this six-week camp is a great way to prepare for the upcoming scholastic season! The camp for younger girls meets once a week, on Wednesdays, and the camp for older girls meets twice a week, on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Both camps run from 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., from the week of July 14 through the week of August 18. Camp will be held at the YMCA and at volleyball venues throughout Lenawee County (with the transportation to off-site courts provided by the YMCA). Campers receive tank game shirts and a water bottle.

Cost for Younger Girls: $50 for members
$70 for non-members

Cost for Older Girls: $105 for members
$125 for non-members

Fall Volleyball

A fun, coed recreational program designed to teach fundamentals, skill development, team work, and sportsmanship. This is what YMCA volleyball is all about! Player evaluations will take place on Tuesday, September 2 and the meet-the-team “tip off” will be held on Saturday, September 6. The seven-week league season runs from September 13 through October 25. Saturday’s games and mid-week team practices will be held at the YMCA. Come join the fun with our great coaching staff, led by Jo Borchardt. Those interested in helping Jo with the program should contact Chris Moore at 263-2151 x 103. Registration forms for the fall volleyball season are available at the Y’s front desk, from July 26 through August 23.
